As part of the ProsperoWeb's Reseller registration process, the prospective reseller is asked to provide an email address and personal, geographic and demographic information. Furthermore, ProsperoWeb.com monitors incoming and outgoing Website traffic data to help diagnose problems with its servers and to administer its Website. ProsperoWeb.com also uses this data to assemble broad demographic information about its member resellers in general. The purpose of this data collection is to ensure that ProsperoWeb's Resellers receive only the most relevant information from ProsperoWeb Also ProsperoWeb gathers information related to products and services from their prospective clients. As part of the ProsperoWeb's 'Quote Request' form, the prospective client is asked to provide the company information, contact information, an email address and personal, geographic and demographic information.

ProsperoWeb uses 'contact us' forms as a way for clients, potential clients, resellers and members (clients, potential clients, resellers and members will be further referred collectively as 'users') to communicate with ProsperoWeb. ProsperoWeb.com collects the information supplied by the sender of the 'contact us' form in order to establish and maintain relationships with its users. ProsperoWeb.com also uses email links located on various pages of the ProsperoWeb.com Website to allow you to contact ProsperoWeb.com with questions or comments you may have. ProsperoWeb.com welcomes these email communications and makes efforts to respond to these communications where appropriate. Email communications and the ideas sent to ProsperoWeb.com in these email communications become the property of ProsperoWeb ProsperoWeb.com uses the email communications to evaluate and improve its services and Website. In addition, ProsperoWeb.com may, from time to time, assist third parties in developing, implementing and monitoring advertising campaigns using data owned or supplied by the third party. However, ProsperoWeb.com will treat information that it receives from third party sources according to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Children's Online Privacy Protection

The safety of children is important to us. ProsperoWeb's Website is a general audience site and is not directed to children under the age of 13. Similarly, ProsperoWeb's services are not directed to nor intended for anyone under the age of 13. ProsperoWeb will not knowingly accept resellers who are under the age of 13 years nor will it knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from or about anyone under the age of 13 years. Accordingly, when registering to become a ProsperoWeb Reseller, the new reseller must certify that they are not under the age of 13. ProsperoWeb relies on the truthfulness of this certification when accepting new resellers. In the event that ProsperoWeb.com receives information that establishes that a member is under the age of 13 years, ProsperoWeb reserves the right, which it will exercise, to terminate that reseller's membership. ProsperoWeb will also delete all information in its databases about that terminated reseller.

Confidentiality

ProsperoWeb will not provide personally identifiable information of a ProsperoWeb's Reseller to third parties. Personally identifiable information means the reseller's name, residence address, email address, contact number or other information from which the reseller's identity may be reasonably ascertained. ProsperoWeb uses proprietary technologies to preserve the anonymity of resellers while matching the reseller's interests with targeted information sent via email. ProsperoWeb will under no circumstance knowingly reveal any reseller's identity to marketers.

Due to the existing legal, regulatory and security environment, ProsperoWeb may be required, under certain circumstances, to disclose aggregate level and/or personally identifiable information about its resellers. ProsperoWeb will use its best efforts to limit such disclosure to the following: where ProsperoWeb believes in good faith that it is required to do so in response to a legal process; where reasonably required to do so in order to maintain, update or otherwise implement ProsperoWeb's data security measures, equipment, technical operations and the like; or where reasonably necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities to preserve and/or enforce ProsperoWeb's rights.

Use of Information

ProsperoWeb uses reseller information to provide with the ProsperoWeb Reseller program and services. Thus, reseller information is used by ProsperoWeb to serve its resellers. A reseller's email address and/or postal address will be used by ProsperoWeb to contact the reseller about the business information and interests. ProsperoWeb does not use reseller or client or users information for purposes unrelated to the services offered by ProsperoWeb.

Policy Changes

The foregoing policy is effective as of August 2001. ProsperoWeb reserves the right to change this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of ProsperoWeb.com's services following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. ProsperoWeb will take reasonable measures to notify you if there is a material change in our privacy practices with respect to use of the information you have provided to ProsperoWeb.com. ProsperoWeb will conspicuously post these changes in our Privacy Policy.
